Founded in Vienna by flutist and performer of traditional wind instruments Aidana Madyar, BAKSY brings the sacred music of Central Asia to life. The ensemble unites outstanding and accomplished musicians, such as the brilliant Aigerim Shuster, a virtuoso on a wide range of plucked and string instruments, and percussionist José María Díaz Aranda, whose artistry adds a vibrant rhythmic heartbeat to the music.
BAKSY made a powerful debut at the Brucknerhaus in Austria and was invited to perform and conduct masterclasses at Expo in Osaka, Japan, as part of its cultural program. This unforgettable fusion of heritage, virtuosity, and passion offers audiences a deeply immersive and spiritually resonant experience.
In 2026, the ensemble plans to take part in landmark cultural events, further expanding its international presence.
