Aigerim Shuster is a Paris-based multi-instrumentalist and composer specializing in ancient music traditions from the 7th century, performing on rare instruments such as the kobyz, zhetygen, saz-syrnay, and shan-kobyz. She has performed on renowned stages including the Berlin Philharmonie, UNESCO, Festival d’Avignon, BOZAR (Belgium), Théâtre de la Ville (Paris), and Brucknerhaus (Austria).
Under her stage name Aiya Shuster, she creates original works that fuse traditional sounds with TradFunk and cinematic styles, blending deep heritage with modern innovation. In recognition of her artistic vision and entrepreneurial spirit, she was honored as one of France’s top young musician-entrepreneurs, receiving the prestigious #PrixLNO – J’Explore (#10under30) award.
As co-founder of the Académie des Petits Musiciens in Paris, she continues to bridge heritage, innovation, and education, inspiring the next generation of musicians on the international stage.
